The Savory story began in Escolta in the early 1950s, where its signature chicken and Chinese-Filipino comfort food became familiar fixtures of Manila dining. As the founding family eventually followed different paths, Jose Ting established The Original Savory Restaurant in 1985.

Through changing neighborhoods, changing generations and changing times, one thing has remained: food meant to be shared around a table.
